[edit] Description
[edit] Product Summary
- Manufacturer: B&W
- The DM570 construction consists of a one piece moulded baffle design – in which
components are exactly appropriate to the size and expected performance. A performance guided to perfection through the use of CAD, finite element analysis and laser interferometry techniques.
- The two-way front vented system has a specially designed 8in bass/midrange driver of the
highest sophistication incorporating a high temperature Kapton voice coil which effectively winds up to increase power handling.
[edit] Technical highlights
- B&W's Tweeter technology ensures that the sound remains focused and time sensitive and
that the stereo image is presented with unparalleled three dimensional accuracy.
- The cabinets feature a specially designed high density front baffle which achieves almost
Matrix-like stability in strengthening overall enclosure construction. The bevel edges of the front moulding reduce diffraction and improve dispersion.
- The crossover components use heavy gauge wire throughout and new drivers guarantee not
only high reliability but ensure that good specifications are met.
