Wie bei Onkyo üblich kann der Verstärker per RI-Verbindung andere Onkyo Geräte "fernsteuern". Über die IPM-Funktion kann der Receiver automatisch angeschaltet werden, wenn der Fernseher angeht. So hat man sofort den vollen Sound. Außerdem hat der Receiver "MRX" (Multiple Source Remote System) an Board. Das heißt, man kann das Lautsprecherpaar "B" (wird hier "Remote" genannt) in einem anderen Raum platzieren und dort völlig unabhängig vom Hauptraum nutzen. Z.B. im Hauptraum eine CD und im Nebenraum Radio hören. Auch die Lautstärke der Lautsprecher wird unabhängig geregelt. Über Zusatzgeräte kann auch eine zusätzliche Fernbedienung im Neberaum "angeschlossen" oder weitere Geräte gesteuert werden.
