• It has 3 noise reduction systems: Dolby B, C and dbx

• Dolby HX pro

• Three-colour fluorescent level meters

• The tape counter is also part of the fluorescent display, 3 digits

• Music Selector - similar to track skip controls on a CD player

• 2 reverse modes - stop when play reaches the end of the side, OR carry on playing the other side when the end is reached

• 2 microphone sockets

• Headphone socket

• Timer Record / Play facility

DISADVANTAGES

There are NO facilities for manually calibrating the deck for a particular tape (no bias control)

NO automatic equalisation facility either
