- The DM 603 is a free standing monitor with a 180mm (7-inch) Kevlar bass/mid-range
driver. The DM 603 will appeal to those who love a rich, rounded bass sound. This is achieved by the inclusion of a passive radiator and bass aligned reflex port. It is also possible to 'tune' the bass with the acoustic foam plugs supplied. By selectively damping the reflex port, you can achieve three variations of bass alignment.
- The DM 603 is ideally suited as front channel speakers in a Home Cinema system.

- Kevlar: B&W developed and patented the method of using Kevlar for
loudspeaker cones to reduce unwanted standing waves. DuPont originally created Kevlar for use in bulletproof vests.
